Where I started
The course was hands-on, which made learning engaging. We covered everything from anatomy and rehabilitation to clinical assessments and patient care.

My journey
The placements were invaluable because they gave us real patient experience and a taste of what it’s actually like to work as a physiotherapist.

My career
The combination of classroom learning and hands-on placements has really prepared me for the real world of physiotherapy.
I’ve gained practical experience, built up my knowledge, and developed important skills like problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
Without Wrexham and the support of the staff, I really would not have had the confidence to apply for my current role as Lead Physiotherapist for the Women and Girls at Rygbi Gogledd Cymru (RGC), which has now led to me being the Physiotherapist for the Welsh Rugby Union Under 18s Women’s team.
